Helping Hands of Rosa Street

Helping Hands of Rosa Street are a group of volunteers who raise funds to support our School. Their fundraising efforts have helped to buy classroom resources such as display boards, PE kits for our Reception children, a school washing machine so that lost property and sports kits can be washed and an in-school pantomime performance.

Current committee members with roles are:

  • Kate Tarling (Chair)
  • Lynda Kelley(Treasurer)
  • Alex Woodward (Secretary)
  • Diane Coates (Communications)

We also have many other parents who attend meetings or lend a hand where they can which is greatly appreciated.

Fundraising this year

Over the past academic year, money has been raised at various events in school from discos to selling calendars to selling refreshments at school events. Obviously, the school year was very disrupted by COVID 19 but we were still able to subsidise hoodies for our year 6 leavers and are currently planning fundraising that can be carried out in a COVID-secure way in and out of school.

Helping Hands of Rosa Street Meetings

Helping Hands of Rosa Street Events

This is usually a busy half term in the lead up to Christmas but this term we will be unable too run our usual Halloween Disco and school Christmas crafts and performances. Instead, Helping Hands will be coming up with some new ways of raising funds and bringing our school community together…watch this space!

If you are interested in getting involved in some of these things then please contact the school office or email Kate Tarling on
