Helping Hands of Rosa Street
Helping Hands of Rosa Street are a group of volunteers who raise funds to support our School. Their fundraising efforts have helped to buy things such as PE kits for our Reception children, Year 6 leaver’s hoodies, pantomime and theatre performance trips, and classroom resources for our nurture group.
Current committee members with roles are:
· Lindsay Shearer (Chair)
· Katie Dunn (Treasurer)
· Gemma Nicholson (Secretary)
· We also have many other parents who attend meetings or help where they can which is greatly appreciated.
Fundraising last year
Over the past academic year, money has been raised at various events in school from sweet stalls, selling calendars, selling refreshments at school events, to running competitions within school. We also hold 2 discos per year to help raise money for school funds and help with the annual Summer Fair.
We contributed towards the pantomime trip, the nursery theatre trip, year 6 leaver’s hoodies. We also bought new PE kits for our new Reception children and a new sensory lamp and a microwave for the nurture group.
