Lauren Robson

I am new to the role as a Parent Governor, this is my first role as part of a governing body and I see this as an exciting opportunity to work closely with staff, pupils and families within the local community, ensuring that the school continues to deliver a high level of education to the children as well as supporting the school with improvements where necessary. I have two children that attend Rosa Street School, they are in Year 5 and Year 2. The school always goes above and beyond to ensure that they achieve the best for the children and their families. I feel extremely lucky that my children attend such a lovely school.  My background is Advocacy,  ensuring people are heard is important to me.  I changed roles when I had the children to obtain a better work/life balance working closer to home. I work as an Income Assistant at livin Housing, Spennymoor, I work part time around school hours so I am always present in the yard around school drop off and pick up.
