Y3 Victorian School Day

Victorian school DayOur history work this half term focuses on our school and the local area.We will begin the topic by comparing a typical school day from the Victorian timesto modern day school. Children can come to school on Tuesday 8th Februarydressed as a Victorian. Boys would wear flat caps, white shirts and trousers and girlswould wear pinafore dresses, white shirts, shawls, straw hats or cloth caps. Please justuse what you might have at home and don’t buy anything special for the costume.We will have the chalks and slate boards ready for a day of Victorian lessons!
